Nicole Lee is an international leader in alcohol and other drug policy and practice. She is Director at Australia’s leading alcohol and other drug specialist consultancy, 360Edge, and Professor at the National Drug Research Institute, Curtin University. She currently serves on the Australian Government's key drug advisory body, the Australian National Advisory Council on Alcohol and other Drugs; is the Alcohol and other Drug Advisor for the Department of Veteran's Affairs; and is Deputy Editor at the journal Drug and Alcohol Review.

She has previously served on the boards of the Australasian Professional Society on Alcohol and other Drugs (APSAD), the Alcohol and other Drug Council of Australia (ADCA) and the Australian Association for Cognitive and Behaviour Therapy (AACBT), twice National President. She has provided advice on drug policy to international agencies, including World Health Organisation (WHO) and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), as well as International and Australian governments. She has published extensively in the area of alcohol and other drugs, with more than 100 journal articles, books, chapters and clinical guidelines.
